Most of us are living small:::

In our every-day ‘normal life’ we live in a world of busy thoughts.. disconnected from the wisdom of our bodies.. our feelings.. and.. our Soul.

As a result.. we perceive reality ‘through a dirty lens which distorts our perception and POV. As a result.. the great wondrous miracle of life is ‘flattened’ to appear as ‘normal’. All creative possibilities have been sucked out to give us our every-day reality -‘real life’.

Our minds have been conditioned to expect normal.. so we perceive life through a ‘normal lens’ and ‘ordinary senses’.

We are raised and educated and trained to be practical.. rational.. logical. So we are not open to anything truly extraordinary -let alone miraculous.

We experience reality and life through our expectations:::

Our limited awareness operates via a narrow bandwidth of perception.. which shapes our world and reality.. and ‘filters out’ greater possibilities hidden in plain view.

In a world of limited possibility.. our mind dominates.. with constant thoughts.. emotions.. desires.. and the need to figure things out. Our feeling and sensing realm is neglected.. so our feelings and senses are blocked.

With dulled senses.. we can only perceive a narrow spectrum of experience.. and require 'loud' sensations for us to feel them. This overstimulates our nervous system and dulls our sensitivity even more.

We end up chasing highs and peaks.. living for goals.. destinations that lie in the future:::

We’re addicted to entertainment.. diversion. We need strong flavours.. colours.. new.. shiny.. bright.. fast.. loud.. exciting. We live for the weekend.. the club.. the high.. the hook-up.. the new lover.. the  holiday.. festival.. retreat.. workshop.

Life can’t be lived at a peak and the chase burns us out. We lose our spark.. our fire.. our passion.. our hope.

No wonder we settle for less:::

We accept the life we think we deserve. We make our life choices from a menu we didn't write.

We settle for lives built on the choices made from a ‘small menu’. The ‘normal menu’ -whatever we were taught normal is. We choose from the menu we were given.

So.. we end up ‘Living Normal’.

And because there are a lot of people living normal.. there’s a lot of competition to get ahead within a pretty narrow playing field. We end up ‘efforting’ and struggling unnecessarily-  competing for limited options in an apparent reality of scarcity.

What if there is a greater menu?

IF you had a broader awareness that somehow simply  KNOWS and FEELS that there is a greater menu.. then of course you would make your choices from that menu -right?

AND.. IF you knew it was available.. you would even make choices that are more aligned with your Heart and SouL. living life with greater purpose and deeper meaning.
