Overview

This is a general guide to the weights of The Keys to Awaken Resonance Art to help you prepare for its installation / hanging.

Weights are dependent on the handmade nature of each item -so we have allowed for tolerances and generally over-estimated the weight. It is likely Your Art piece/s will weigh the same or less than the weights shown below.

We are providing this information without guarantee of accuracy.. as general information for your benefit.. and without liability or warranty.

Please consult with your local hardware store or a Professional Art Installer if you need specific advice on how to best install / hang Your Art.

In the case of the Resonance Gift Art.. it comes in Curated Sets of 9 pieces:::

-The 8 X 8inch / 20 X 20cm Satin Wood -a set of 9 Art Pieces.. equalling a total approximate weight for the set of 4.05kg or 9lbs

-The 11inch / 28cm Round Mirror Gloss Metal -a set of 9 Art Pieces.. equalling a total approximate weight for the set of 4.05kg or 9lbs

Art Sizes

The sizes shown on our website are rounded to the nearest cm or inch.

Due to the handmade artisanal nature of every Art piece produced..

there may be a slight variation between the size of Your Purchased Art Piece as stated on our site.. and the actual finished size of Your Art Piece.

We allow these fine tolerances due to 3 factors.

the bespoke hand made process
slight material variations
the art industry’s practice of naming art piece sizes with whole numbers -rounding the piece’s cm/inches to the nearest whole number.

Q. How large is the size-variation tolerance between the stated size online and the finished size of my Art Piece?

In most cases it is minor with less than a 0.5cm or 0.2inch max size-variation.

In some cases where the 3 factors above are at their max size-variation tolerance for each factor.. then this can have a cumulative or compounding effect.. resulting in a max size-variation tolerance from 1 cm or 0.4inches to the extreme of 1.5 cm or 0.6 inches.

These size variations are generally not ‘visible to the naked eye..’ and therefore not obvious when similar sized Art Pieces are hanging next to each other.

Q. I am ordering a number of Art Pieces of similar shape and size to hang next to each other. Will they be the same size?

When you want Art Pieces to be as close as possible to each other in size.. then it is a good idea to order your similar sized and shaped Art Pieces in one order.

This means that each piece will have a minimal size variation in comparison to each other.

Q. I am framing my Art Piece. How much of an impact will that have on size?

Please note that some forms of framing impact finished size and others do not.

When a frame is placed under the Art Piece to finish the edges of the Art Piece and to ‘create lift’ from the wall -such as our ‘Gallery White Frame’ then there is virtually no change in size.

When a frame is placed around the Art Piece to ‘frame’ it on the outside of its ‘face’ or surface.. then this generally adds 1.5 cm (0.4 to 0.6inch).. depending on the type of frame and material.
